There's no comparison between Twitter and LinkedIn
So, I did a little experiment.
I succumbed to the FOMO/pressure of people saying Twitter is awesome and is a great opportunity for building an audience.
I gave it a shot. Tweeting for 30 days every day.
The results? Not so impressive. Only +12 followers (from 84 to 96) for 150 tweets. I agree it’s not that many followers nor tweets.
Compared to LinkedIn? When I started being more active on LinkedIn, I quickly reached +70 followers, with the number now being significantly higher. And now I routinely get 1000+ view on my posts, with +8,658% of views in the last year.
So, in my experience, there’s no valid comparison…LinkedIn is just better.
